Creative Writing

Hello! I’m Daisy Symons — a super‑passionate, slightly ditsy creative writing student — and this page is where I share the work I create for university and in my own time. I spend my days pulling apart stories and my nights making new ones: poems, scripts, short films, half‑formed novels, comic pages, scenes with no destination yet. I write across forms and genres and let each idea choose where it belongs.

My work is queer, gritty, grunge‑soft; emotional, dark in places and tender in others. I love stories that bruise a little, characters who feel real enough to sit beside you, and moments that don’t fit neatly into a box. Nothing here is polished into perfection, but it’s always the best version I can give.

So if you’ve wandered over from one of my essay‑length book reviews, have a look around. You might find something that sticks with you.
